At the end of last week I was looking through a homes magazine and saw there was a new subdivision going in in SW Springfield. And they were homes we could actually afford. That was exciting so Saturday Jake and I went to look at them and got inspired. We had officially set a date for when we'd like to list our house by, April 1st. Then as the weekend went on, we decided maybe the second or third week of March. Then on Sunday we went to look at a home that we've loved since October and it was back on the market. It would be perfect! It's 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 living areas. It'd be a dream come true! And a much better value than the new construction. It's possible it could still be on the market when we're ready to buy but there's no telling. But either way we decided we want to hurry and list our house.... next week!!
We've kicked it into high gear getting everything ready. I want the house to literally shine when you walk in the door. Everything spotless and clean, everything staged just right. I want someone to walk in the door and see what a great home it is right off the bat... because it really is. One downside of listing it so soon is that people wont see how great the landscaping is. We'll just have to make it look the best we can.
